Biography
Vikki Burns has been instrumental in creating events and staging performances worldwide for over a decade. Projects have been as diverse as developing the Cadbury’s Trident Soft “Mess With Your Head” installation, to co - directing cabaret for Pernod Ricard on the Ricard’s private Island of Les Embiez in Marseille. Her work has been repeatedly used by companies such as Diesel, Lee, Wrangler and more recently cult brand Agent Provocateur where Vikki has staged shows in Vienna, Toronto, Geneva and New York City for the label.
Vikki began dance classes at the age of five and went onto attend the prestigious Laban Centre for Dance, in London, where her professional training encompassed choreography, production, lighting and costume. After graduating Vikki accepted various commissions and was also invited to join the coaching team at the Camm Street Gymnastics Centre as resident dance coach where she trained gymnasts bound for international success including Britain’s top gymnast and our Olympic hope Beth Tweddle in her earlier years.
Vikki has been a regular face at Salon International, staging runway shows for Clynol and Schwarzkopf as well as creating Toni & Guys’ Avant-Garde section for their “Backstage” Event. For the past seven years she has also been working behind the scenes at London Fashion Week, and for the past two seasons has played a significant role in creating the Topshop Show Space.
