Biography
Over the past decade Vikki Burns has been instrumental in creating events & staging performances worldwide, her work has been repeatedly used by companies such as Diesel, Lee, Wrangler, hair sensations Rush & more recently cult brand Agent Provocateur.
Vikki began ballet & tap classes at the age of five, during her teenage years she performed throughout the UK with Cheshire Dance Workshop’s Youth Dance Company Crunch, from there she went on to attend the prestigious Laban Centre for Dance, London, where her professional training encompassed choreography, production, lighting & costume. After graduating Vikki accepted various commissions & was also invited to join the coaching team at Crewe & Nantwich Gymnastics Centre as resident dance coach where she trained gymnasts bound for international success including Britain’s top gymnast Beth Tweddle in her earlier years.
Vikki made the move back to London in 2001 and was quickly used by clients such as Cosmopolitan magazine for Cosmo Live, staged at Earls Court & Marks & Spencer for their touring fashion shows…..
She has been a regular face at Salon International, staging runway shows for Sharon Peake at Ethos (North Western Hair Dresser of the year 2008) Clynol and Schwarzkopf. For the past seven seasons she has been working behind the scenes at London Fashion Week.
